Aerobat

AEROBAT was founded in the early 80’s by José Miguel Batalla, a trained physicist and pioneer of ultralight aviation in Spain.

The quality of the products is a fundamental premise from the beginning, from the basis of design to the choice of material, numerical control mechanization and of course the most exigent treatments.

Made of beech wood

The basic raw material for most AEROBAT propellers is beech (Fagus Sylvatica) because of its hardness, the lack of knots and the long, straight fibres of trees up to 40 metres high, which come from sustainably managed forests with FSC sustainable forestry certification.

Wood, unlike other artificial materials, does not suffer structural fatigue under different tensile, bending and centrifugal forces. Wooden propellers are the only propellers that do not have a life limit in terms of hours of operation.

A wooden propeller can be forever.

In the manufacturing process we generate virtually no waste for landfill. The chips from the machines are compressed and used as biomass.
